A 60 year old man from Kentucky has been identified as the deceased in a motorcycle crash near Ignace.
The accident happened around noon on Tuesday.
Witnesses says the motorcycle drove off the road, and into the ditch at a high rate of speed.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
As a result of the crash, the Trans-Canada between Ignace and Highway 622 was closed for several hours for the police investigation.
