A tragic end to a massive manhunt.
OPP were called to April Road, just North of Vermilion Bay Saturday, after a man confronted another individual who he knew, threatened him and fired a gun.
The victim was not injured however the incident resulted in a 2 day manhunt by OPP, the Canine Unit and Air Support.
Police say an abandoned vehicle was found on Canyon Lake Road Sunday night and the suspect was found deceased near the car.
OPP say the man has been identified as 61-year-old Gabriel Dulac of Vermilion Bay and foul play is not suspected.
A post-mortem has been ordered and more details are expected to be released later today.
