Manitoba Driver Charged With Distracted Driving

Provincial Police in Kenora are laying additional charges against a 36-year-old Manitoba man after a dash board camera captured a scary crash at the intersection of Highway 17 and the Kenora by-pass earlier this month.
Police say an eastbound vehicle hit a northbound pickup truck that appeared to have failed to stop for a stop sign on March 1st.
The eastbound vehicle was being driven by Ralph Ireland of Sioux Lookout.
Christopher Lord, of La Broquerie MB, was charged with failing to yield.
Lord has now been charged with using a hand held device while driving.
No one was seriously injured in the crash.
