The RCMP says there are a couple of highways in southern Manitoba closed at this time, but anticipated widespread closures were not required.
At this time, Highway 75 from Morris to the border and Highway 1 from Elie to Austin are officially closed.
Highway conditions are expected to deteriorate through the day and more closures are possible.
Police says if you become stuck or stranded first responders may not be able to get to you.
