It is with great sadness, the family of Marg. Lynch wishes to share her sudden passing which occurred on Thursday, November 29, 2012.
Although born in Pipestone, Manitoba, Marg. moved to Dryden with her family when she was only six years old and was proud to be a “Drydenite”. Actively involved in many sports in her younger years, she was an avid curler for many years and had many good times with her friends bonspieling. A member of the Catholic Women’s League, Marg was involved with her church and her quiet faith was very important to her. Things which made Marg smile included weekends at Basket Lake as she and Pat raised their boys and later days on the ‘Goon enjoying the summer days and spending time at camp on the island. Marg’s grandchildren held a special place in her life as well as her niece Michelle. In recent years, rarely a day would go by when one of her grandchildren were not at the house. The door was always open for a beverage or a meal. She was known for her quick wit and amazing memory. She is already missed.
Marg was born on March 18, 1932 and is survived by her husband Patrick (Pat) of 54 years, sons Darcy, Barry (Judi), Jeffrey (Sherri), grandchildren Mackenzie, Sean, Brenna, Zoe, Sydney, brother Cyril (Shirley) Lobreau and also numerous nieces, nephews and brother/sister in laws in New Brunswick and Montreal. Marg was predeceased by her parents Joe and Lucy Lobreau and brothers Maurice and Claude Lobreau.
Friends are asked to join the family in celebrating the life of Marg, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend on Tuesday, December 4 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Al Campeau officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, December 3rd from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Dryden Community Funeral Home’s Chapel with Prayers at 7:00 p.m. also at the Dryden Community Funeral Home’s Chapel. Interment of ashes will be at a later date. If friends so desire, donations made be made to the Lynch grandchildren’s Education Fund or a charity of choice through the Dryden Community Funeral Home, 249 Grand Trunk Avenue, Dryden, ON, P8N 2X3.
“So you have your pain now; but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice and no one will take your joy from you.” John 16.22
