A former Dryden resident is returning to Northwestern Ontario to teach marine courses.
Mitch Miller now runs Miller Marine Training in British Columbia, but will be in Thunder Bay in March to provide Transport Canada Vessel operator training.
Miller says it’s a good opportunity for anyone in the region who is interested in a career on the water.
One of the courses is called the Small Vessel Operator Proficiency Training which requires four days in class and the other course is called Marine Emergency Duties, which deals with safety and is geared towards passenger vessels.
