Masking regulations eased for long term care homes

You no longer need to wear a mask at any of Kenora District Home for the Aged long-term care facilities.

Michelle Spencer is the assistant administrator and says masks are still recommended, but no are no longer mandatory.

The new masking regulations affects the Pinecrest Home for the Aged in Kenora, Princess Court in Dryden and Northwoods Lodge in Red Lake.

Visitors and caregivers can also join with residents in dining areas.

Most masking requirements at area hospitals were lifted earlier this month.
