In a community that produces gold, everything Eric Masters touched Tuesday night turned into gold.
Masters scored five times against his former team as the Dryden GM Ice Dogs cruised to an 8-3 win over the English River Miners in Cochenour.
Matt Houston had a goal and two assists, while Jonathan Philley added a single.
Cole Golka also recorded his 30th goal of the season.
All of the Miners goals came on the power-play.
Eric Champagne scored a pair, while Kyle Baril added a single.
Dryden out shot English River 47-34.
