UPDATE: Park wins taekwondo bronze at Paris Olympics

Canada now has 21 medals at the Paris Olympics.

Skylar Park just won a bronze in women’s taekwondo.

Earlier, Maude Charron won a silver medal in women’s weightlifting.

Charron was one of Canada’s flag-bearers during the opening ceremony, she won gold in Tokyo.

Twenty-one year old Savannah Sutherland raced in the women’s 400m hurdles, and finished off the podium.

Nova Scotia’s Sarah Mitton qualified for Friday’s final in women’s shotput.

Both of our 4x100m relay teams advanced on the track.

Brooke Henderson and Alena Sharp are tied for 29th after two rounds of women’s golf.

Our women’s beach volleyball team won their semifinal match and will play for gold.
