In loving memory of Maurice Gardner, age 73 of Eagle Lake First Nation, who passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2003, at the Dryden Regional Health Centre. Maurice is survived by sisters, Minnie (Fred) Parenteau of Dryden, Mary Skead of Kenora, Linda Adams (Irvin), Virginia Meawasige (Frank), Margaret, Nancy of Migisahgaigan, brothers Stanley, James of Kenora, Philip (Rose), Bill Parenteau, Patrick, Arnold (Florence), Allan (Janet). Many nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives survive. Step children Alma Lambert, Alan Armatage (Jean) of Winnipeg, many step grandchildren of Manitoba. Visitation for the late Maurice Gardner will held at the Eagle Lake Community Hall from Sunday, May 4th at 7:00 p.m. until the time of service. Funeral Services for the late Maurice Gardner, will be held on Wednesday, May 7th at 11:00 a.m. at the Eagle Lake Community Hall with Elder Tabasaanikot Kinew officiating. Interment in the Eagle Lake First Nation Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Dryden Regional Health Centre through the Dryden Community Funeral Home, 249 Grand Trunk Avenue., Dryden, Ontario.
