It’s time to open up the books and find out what’s happening at our area High Schools.

Here are just a few of the things happening…..

Red Lake District High School

The annual ‘Prom Bottle Drive’ fundraiser will be happening this Saturday, May 9^th.  In collaboration with Balmertown Food Fair the bottle drive will take place from 10 until 2 on Saturday.  Text Nicole at 728-3193 for pick-ups.

This is Mental Health Week.  Students are asked to wear green this week to show support for mental health awareness.  There will be activities at Red Lake High every day at lunch this week. 

Pelican Falls First Nations High School

The school year is quickly winding down. Examination Of Learning Days are coming up this week on May 6^th and 7^th.   

Last day of school for Pelican Falls First Nations High School is this Friday, May the 8^th!!

Graduation is set for Thursday, May 14^th.

Ignace School

Mark your calendars, Falcon Families!  Coming on May 13^th and 14^th – be ready to enjoy the magic of ‘Frozen – The Musical’ as Ignace School students bring the kingdom to life on stage at Ignace School.  Showtime each night is 6:30 in the Ignace School – Gym 1.  Admission is a ten dollar donation per family.

Tomorrow – Tuesday May the 5^th is ‘Sleep Deprivation Day’ otherwise know as…..”Pajama Day’ at Ignace School.  Wear your favourite PJs to school tomorrow!

And Wednesday, May 6^th will be a late start day for students in grades 9 through 12.
