The Northwestern Health Unit is reminding the public to take good care of their
hearing.
May is Speech and Hearing Awareness Month, and the health unit suggests teens
turn down their IPODS, and residents protect their ears while mowing the yard.
Director of Family Services Karen Essery says despite Kenora no longer having
an audiologist, residents can still have their hearing checked.
