Mayor Hobbs Responds To Bombardier Criticism

Thunder Bay Mayor Keith Hobbs isn’t apologizing for his comments of support to Bombardier workers at Monday’s Unifor rally.
Following Tuesday’s contract vote Hobbs says it’s time for the two sides to get back to the bargaining table and not worry about what he said.
Hobbs says his comments were meant to point out that he doesn’t want to see jobs going to Mexico and that we need to keep the provincial contracts in Thunder Bay.
He is encouraging the company and the union to get back to the bargaining table.
Hobbs adds he only wants what’s best for the city.
