Mayor of Red Lake Resting After Accident

Police responded to a number of motor vehicle collisions over the weekend, one involving the Mayor Red Lake.
Rescue crews and ambulance personel were called after a crash involving a car and a transport on Highway 17 just west of Dryden Saturday afternoon.
Visibility was poor the time of the mishap and Dunc Wilson says everything was ok until he was suddenly face to face with a transport.
He was taken to Hospital with minor injuries and released.
Wilson says he is nursing a sore chest due to the impact of the crash but is otherwise OK.
His car suffered extensive damage.
