He didn’t really want to run for the federal nomination in Kenora riding & now former ear falls mayor Geoff McClain won’t have to.
With Bob Nault’s resignation the only declared candidate for the nomination was Thunder Bay based native leader Charles Fox.
That changed Friday when former Dryden Mayor Roger Valley entered the race & McClain, now the clerk admininstrator for Ear Falls couldn’t have been happier as his focus has always been on Provincial politics rather than the Federal scene.
Names of several other prominent Liberals are still being tossed about
as possible candidates & this morning, Kenora Lawyer Bev Wexler indicated she too will be filing the required papers shortly to be a candidate.
