McGuinty Wants Wage-Freeze

Ontario’s premier is calling for all public-sector workers, including municipal police and firefighters, to help slay the province’s massive deficits with a wage freeze.

Last week’s budget laid out plans to freeze the wages of more than a million public-sector employees and McGuinty is urging municipalities to do the same with their workers.
