McKenzie Island Man Pulled from Bruce Channel

Tragedy in Red Lake.
The body of a 24-year-old McKenzie Island man has been pulled from the Bruce Channel in Red Lake.
OPP were notified late Saturday afternoon of a missing boater between Cochenour and McKenzie Island.
Witnesses report the man was last seen swimming in the Channel.
The Underwater Search and Recovery Unit found the body of David Delaney on Sunday, about 75-metres from the shore of the Cochenour docks.
Delany was located in about 30-feet of water.
Police are waiting for the coroner’s report before releasing the circumstances surrounding his death.
