A federal mediator is back involved in the contract dispute between Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers.
But it comes with a hint of back-to-work legislation if an agreement can’t be reached within a few days.
The union says that threat will only undermine any chance of a negotiated settlement.
It’s now been thirty days since the union began its rotating strikes to back contract demands.
Canada Post is warning that job action impacts on their ability to get mail and parcels delivered on time.
