Medical Officer Of Health Out With Warning

With the rain hitting our area, expect to see more mosquitoes out and about as you enjoy your outdoor barbeques.

The Chief Medical Officer of Health for Ontario is reminding local residents to take precautions against West Nile virus.

Dr. David Williams is asking people to wear closed-toe shoes, long-sleeved shirts and pants as well using bug dope with DEET.

The same applies to avoiding ticks from getting on your skin.
