Medical Treatment Report #2

Northwestern Ontario residents are waiting anywhere from 20 to 35 weeks for hip and knee replacements.
That according to an Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences report that looked at wait times for some medical procedures.
Co-Editor Dr. Jack Tu (two) says the long lineups continue in another key area.

N023 Runs: 18 sec. Out…24 days.

In terms of cataract surgery, you can expect a 12-week delay for treatment.
Tu says they want the Province to create a registry to monitor and report on wait times.
