Provincial energy minister Dwight Duncan can expect to get an earfull today.
Atikokan Mayor Dennis Brown has a meeting with the Minister in Toronto where he will express his concern over Liberal plans to close the Atikokan
Generating Station along with 4 others across the Province, including Thunder Bay.
Brown has several concerns other than the 120 jobs that would be lost to the town, especially with Ontario facing an energy shortage.
The government says they are major polluters but Mayor Brown will point out that the Atikokan GS has never once exceeded the provincial standards.
