Meno Ya Win Appoints Acting President And CEO

Sioux Lookout’s Meno Ya Win Health Centre has a new leader while the hospital continues to search for a permanent President and CEO.

Dean Osmond has been appointed as the centre’s Acting President and CEO, effective today. This comes as the previous President, Douglas Semple, announced his resignation last month.

“Dean has provided strong leadership over the years,” says Board Chair Sadie Maxwell. “We look forward to his continued guidance and leadership as we seek a long-term solution at the President and CEO position.”

The hospital’s team says Osmond’s been with them since 1991 when he worked for the previous Sioux Lookout General Hospital. He’s held a variety of leadership positions, including coordinator, manager, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
