Mental Health Conference in Dryden

Dryden is hosting the 11th Annual Consumer and Family Conference this weekend.
The Conference is focusing on care close to home and making effective changes within the Mental Health System.
Canadian Mental Health Association Spokesperson Nancy Daley says a special comedy event is among the events Saturday night at 6:30 at the Best Western.
She says the program helps people suffering from mental health speak publicly about the disease through comedy.
Other topics on the agenda include a presentation on programs available for older adults at home.
The Conference opens Saturday morning at 8:30 and concludes Sunday.
