Mental Health Leader Hired by Public Board

The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board has hired a new Children’s Mental Health Leader.
Lisa Doerksen has accepted the position.
Doerksen is currently the Director of Children’s Mental Health Services for Firefly and the Board is anticipating a smooth transition.
She will be in charge of coordinating services, identifying levels of need and developing a regional strategy.
The Public Board was one of eight in Ontario to receive funding from the Province for the position.
