Meters Stay…for now.

Paying for parking in downtown Dryden will be a fact of life for a while longer at least.
Businessman Roy Wilson presented a petition to Council Monday calling for the immediate removal of all meters but was quickly shot down when he told Committie of the Whole the decision had to be made within a week.
Several members from the Mayor on down made it clear that they would not be rushing to decide one way or another on the issue.
What seems most likely is that the meters will be covered for a period of time to see how a 2 hour parking limit works but there is no timeline for that to happen either.
