Metis Agreement in Manitoba Simillar to Ontario

Manitoba Métis have signed a Harvesting Rights Agreement.
It recognizes rights for Métis harvesters without the legal requirements of purchasing a game tag.
MNO President Gary Lipinski says it started in Ontario with a test case before Métis rights were properly recognized, even though they were recognized in the constitution.
