The President of Metis Nation of Ontario says she welcomes the opportunity to meet with the new provincial government and Minister of Indigenous Affairs Greg Rickford in the coming weeks to discuss how they can work together to advance joint priorities during the upcoming term.
Margaret Froh is congratulating the Kenora-Rainy River MPP on his cabinet appointment.
Froh says the MNO looks forward to continuing to work with Ontario on a government-to-government basis to address issues of critical importance to their citizens and ultimately make Ontario stronger.
She notes the main goal is advancing reconciliation through a collaborative process and ensure Metis rights are protected.
