Michael Gravelle Looking Ahead

Ontario’s new minister for Northern Ontario says mining could be the key
to turning the region’s economy around.
Michael Gravelle says the mining sector in the north is booming.
He says mining has generated about $500-million from exploration
last year, up sharply from previous years.
Gravelle says mining could bring back some of the jobs that vanished
because of high interest rates, energy prices and the dollar.
