A Dryden resident is the victim of a Microsoft scam.
They alerted police this week to their folly.
They received a call from a person saying they were from the computer company and that they were aware she was having difficulties with her computer.
She gave the caller her credit card info but shortly after she began receiving emails from Western Union saying she had sent money out.
Contact was made with the bank and the transactions were stopped.
