A bombshell dropped on Dryden City Council.
Mike Wood has handed in his resignation.
He stresses he feels like he’s not making an impact on Council.
Wood suggests that he can no longer help and is no longer needed and he doesn’t like the direction the City is going in.
Wood adds the negative outlook of some on the City’s future also played a factor.
He also cited that he needs to take more time to concentrate on his personal life and stresses he will remain actively involved in the community.
His resignation is effective January 31st.
Wood finished second in the 2010 election and third in the 2006 election.
