For the third year in a row a member of the Fort Frances Lakers has received the SIJHL Most Improved Player Award.
This years winner is Miles Nolan.
The 20-year-old wrapped up the regular season with 48-points in 54-games on 22-goals and 26-assists.
Nolan also led the Lakers in power-play markers with 12.
He easily surpassed the 10-goals and 18-assists he had last season.
Nolan edged out Noah Anderson of Minnesota and Brett Wolframe of Thunder Bay for the award.
