The Steelworkers Union is hoping that the Terrace Bay Pulp plant will be back in operation shortly.
Local 665 President Paul Gerlach says he expects the Mill to be up and running again by next weekend.
The plant has been down for repairs since a blow tank exploded on October 31st killing 28-year-old Terrance Berthelot of Schreiber.
Two other men, ages 52 and 53 of Thunder Bay, were transported to Hospital and later released.
The Ministry of Labour is investigating the incident.
