Red Lake Miners captain Shaye Sommerfeld has been named SIJHL/Play It Again Sports Player of the Week.
The 20-year-old forward from Alberta registered 3-goals and 2-assists in a pair of Miners wins on the weekend.
Sommerfeld has supplied the game-winning goal in all three Red Lake wins this season.
He currently leads the league in offensive production with seven points.
Dryden GM Ice Dogs forward Justin Pitari also received consideration.
