It doesn’t get much better than this for the English River Miners.
The Miners used home ice to their advantage in a 4-3 win against Fort Frances Lakers Tuesday night.
Fort Frances entered the game as the fifth ranked team in Canada.
Paul Lamoureaux scored twice, including the game winner, while Chris Hrabec and Vincent Currao added singles.
P.D. Melgoza was solid in net making 38-saves.
The Miners now trail the fourth place Dryden Ice Dogs by only 2-points in the SIJHL standings.
