English River Miners forward Jacob Siebenga has been named SIJHL Player of the Week.
In a weekend sweep of Fort Frances, the 18-year-old from B.C. amassed eight points, including a game winning goal.
The highlight was a six point game on Sunday.
Siebenga is currently riding an eight-game point streak and sits second in rookie scoring with 36-points.
Cory Dennis of the Dryden GM Ice Dogs also received consideration.
