Miners Gearing Up For First Game

The English River Miners will get their first taste of real action on Saturday.
The Miners head to Fort Frances to face the Lakers in SIJHL pre-season play.
Head Coach Kevin Kahoot says he has a young team but he’s happy with what he sees right now.
Kahoot says they have good team speed and they have a decent core of veterans who have returned.
He notes their strength will be on the back end with the return of goalies Greg Harney and P.D. Melgoza.
Game time tomorrow is 6:30.
