The English River Miners will be shorthanded Friday as they face the Dryden GM Ice Dogs.
The SIJHL has suspended defenceman Jake Gushue and forward Kyle Crawford.
Gushue will only miss tonight’s game, while Crawford has been ordered to sit for two.
Both suspensions stem from separate incidents Monday night in Thunder Bay.
Dryden GM is 1-1 in 2016, while the Miners haven’t won a game since November 13th.
Game time is 7 o’clock at the Cochenour Arena and CKDR will have the call starting at 6:45.
In other league action, the North Stars look to win two in a row against Fort Frances.
Puck-drop is 7:30 at the Ice for Kids Arena.
