The Red Lake Miners couldn’t finish off a pre-season sweep of the Fort Frances Lakers.
The Lakers scored two unanswered goals en route to a 2-1 home win Sunday.
Ryan Howe scored the lone goal for Red Lake.
Earlier last week, the Miners edged Fort Frances 7-6.
The Miners will open the regular season on Friday at home against the Dryden GM Ice Dogs.
