The English River Miners made a couple of moves at the Junior Hockey trade deadline.
The Miners traded Landen Matechuk to the Timmins Rock of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League for forward Mike Norris.
Matechuk was second on team scoring with 33-points, while Norris had 13-points in 34-games with Timmins.
English River also signed 6’0, 180-pound American defenceman Riley Wagner.
