Miners Now 12th In Nation; Ice Dogs Once Again Receive HM

The English River Miners have moved to 12th in the Canadian Junior Hockey League rankings.

That’s a jump from 16th a week ago, as the Miners are on a franchise-record pace for wins.

English River is 10-3 this season and is only one point back of first place Thunder Bay.

The Miners are also 9-1 in their past ten games.

The Dryden GM Ice Dogs received honourable mention for the second straight week, despite boasting the top winning percentage in the SIJHL at .773.

The previously undefeated Steinbach Pistons lost a pair of one goal games this past week and have fallen to second in the country.

College Francais de Longueuil of the Quebec League is the new number one.
