The Miners scored four times in the second and added four more in the third en route to a 10-7 win over Thunder Bay Thursday in Ear Falls.
Alex Maticic led English River with three goals, while Landon Matechuk added a pair.

The Miners look to make it two in a row Friday in Cochenour.
