Miners Stomp Sluggish Ice Dogs Team

The English River Miners snapped their 5-game losing skid in a big way Thursday night at the Dryden Memorial Arena.
The Miners scored four times on the powerplay in an 8-3 rout of the Ice Dogs.
Paul Lamoureux led the way with 2-goals and 2-assists.
Brendan Wilde also scored a pair of goals.
Ryley Pace, Taylor Bargar, Kellen McBlain and Nathan Johnson added singles.
Chris Varrin scored twice for Dryden, while Zach Kercz added a single.
The rematch is Saturday night at 7 in Ear Falls.
