The English River Miners stunned the hometown crowd by scoring four times in the third period en route to a 5-3 win over Thunder Bay in the opening game of their SIJHL Semi-Final Saturday night.
Michael Di Lullo and Jared Janke both scored a pair of goals, while Sidney Gladue added a single.
Michael Lenko stopped 35-shots for the win.
Game 2 is Sunday night in Thunder Bay.
