The English River Miners have parted ways with Konnar Dechaine.
The 19-year-old forward has been traded to the Cochrane Crunch of the Northern Ontario Junior Jockey League.
Dechaine had a great second half to last season and finished with 23-goals and 20-assists in 56-games.
He added ten points in nine playoff games.
In return, the Miners received Surrey, B.C. forward Zak Stepaniuk.
Stepaniuk is 6’0, 190-pounds and is an 18-year-old lefty.
He recorded two goals and nine assists and picked up 46-penalty minutes in 35-games with the Crunch last season.
