The English River Miners look to be the first team in the SIJHL to solve the Thief River Falls Norskies.
The Miners host the Norskies for a two game series starting Friday night.
Thief River Falls have yet to lose a game this season, while the Muskies are stuck in fifth place, two points behind Fort Frances.
However, English River has won its last four games at the Cochenour Arena.
Game time is 7:30.
Meantime, the Lakers are home to the Thunder Bay North Stars.
The Dryden GM Ice Dogs return to the ice Saturday night against Fort Frances.
