Minimum Wage Going Up

Ontario is raising the minimum wage by twenty five cents.
It’s going from 11 bucks to $11.25 starting October 1st for jobs in special categories including liquor servers, homeworkers and students.
The increase is the result of recent changes to the Employment Standards Act.
Kenora Rainy River MPP Sarah Campbell says it’s a step in the right direction.
