Aboriginal groups across the province seem to be pleased with an extension for consultations
on a new Mining Act being drafted in Ontario.
Northern Development and Mines minister, Michael Gravelle says he’s already met with the
leadership of most aboriginal groups in the province.
The Big Trout Lake First Nation has gone on record saying they don’t think extending the consultations to January 15th will make any difference.
Band members says they want more information and answers to the questions rather than more consultations.
