Mining Activing and Revenue Sharing Highlighted

First Nations leaders have gathered for this weeks Ontario Chiefs Conference at Couchiching First Nation near Fort Frances.
Leaders say they want to ensure their communities are benefiting from the increased mining activity in Northwestern Ontario.
Treaty 3 Grand Council Chief Diane Kelly says its important that resource revenue sharing agreements be in place.
Kelly says recent memorandums of understanding signed with mining companies doing work in the region is a good start.
