Mining Comes to a Halt at Musselwhite

Operations at Placer Dome’s Musselwhite Gold Mine remain suspended following the death of a worker.
34-year-old Chris White of Ignace, fell to his death Monday at the operation northwest of Pickle Lake Monday.
Placer Dome is releasing few details about the accident since it is under investigation by the OPP and Ministry of Labor.
