Thunder Bay’s Patty Hadju is in the Justin Trudeau cabinet. The first woman ever be elected to parliament from this city, was sworn in as the Minister for the Status of Women.
Other cabinet posts include Bill Morneau in Finance, Stephane Dion in Foreign Affairs, Marc Garneau in Transport and Carolyn Bennett is the new minister of Indigenous and Northern Affairs.
Prime Minister Trudeau is taking on an additional two portfolios; Intergovernmental Affairs and Youth.
